This week Microsoft announces it is closing its Windows Live Spaces blogging platform and moving all it's 7 Million+ users over to Wordpress.com This is a dramatic move but is a clear statement about how web users (bloggers) have made Wordpress such a valuable commodity. Microsoft has jumped all over it.
This is what Dharmesh Mehta, Director of Windows Live Product Management had to say:
"As we looked at customers' blogging needs and what different companies were providing, we were particularly interested in what WordPress.com is doing. They have a host of impressive capabilities – from a scalable platform and leading spam protection, to great personalization and customization. WordPress powers over 8.5% of the web, is used on over 26 million sites, and WordPress.com is seen by over 250 million people every month. Not only that, Auttomatic is a company filled with great people focused on improving blogging experiences. So rather than having Windows Live invest in a competing blogging service, we decided the best thing we could do for our customers was to give them a great blogging solution through WordPress.com."

Sales Tip from George Kosch, Instructor for Worldprofit's Home Business Bootcamp
Says George Kosch: I had a few questions in the support area about people struggling with Clickbank sales so I decided to write up some short tips based on how I make sales.
Here they are:
Selling products on Clickbank can be a challenge. That is the reason we developed the Clickbank promo kit. You get access to this in your Worldprofit Member area.
The CB Promo Kit solves the problem of having the right product and the right marketing material to send out.
However, even when you are sending the marketing copy out to your lists it might not lead to the sales level that you had hoped for. In most cases this can be caused by two issues. We'll list those issues with suggestions:
1. Not promoting the most timely product can sometimes hamper your sales efforts.
Solution: We recommend two sites to keep you up to date on what's HOT. YOu get this information in your Worldprofit Member area.
2. Lists are too small.
Solution: Time is really the only way this will get better. Your newsletter will build up ONLY if you are bringing in new Associates using the Bootcamp 1 Basic Training. You can keep up to date on this critical training by attending the Bootcamp Live Training every Friday at 10 am Central time in the member area.
Keep your "Profile" updated in the member area with a link to your "other" opportunites if you have any. Reason we suggest this is because many of you do have other business ops going which means you are building other lists. These lists can be sent the CB Promo Kit marketing materials too. This will always lead to more sales.
Finally, as an option take a look at the Clickbank Maximizer kit in the member area. It has a great video and will show you how to build yet another list. This list is very powerful because not only does it grow fast, it's is an Automated Sales machine. It sends you marketing materials at random to everyone on the list from the CB Promo Kit EVERY two days!
