PFI will itself be THE HOLDING COMPANY for each of the different COOPERATIVES which will be registered (as per the chart below). Each of these Cooperatives must operate as INDEPENDENT PROFIT-CENTERS, but their actual activities will be run and administered by ONE MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION TEAM to reduce costs and ensure excellent professional management of the entire group of companies/cooperatives.
PFI will itself establish, own and operate various PROCESSING PLANTS for each of the different COOPERATIVES, such as A PROCESSING PLANT FOR FRUIT & VEGETABLES, which will clean and then process (cooking or pickling & canning) all fruit & vegetables; or, for example: milling& packaging of rice; the cleaning, freezing and packaging of all fish & seafood; and all storage, transport, marketing & local sales & export of all fresh or processed food products.
PFI will also employ various AGRICULURAL EXPERTS (agronomists, soil scientists, etc.) who will be sent to visit ALL the farms in the different cooperatives to give instructions, advice and on-the-spot training, and to conduct field examinations of all plants and crops and animals and to conduct testing and examination at a central laboratory at PFI.
EACH SEPARATE COOPERATIVE will purchase, own and operate all vehicles, plant and equipment such as: trucks, vans, quad bikes, tractors, trailers, plant & equipment, which will be used by various farms in one area as they are needed, to save on costs.
ALL THE RURAL FARMERS WHO CONTRIBUTE THEIR FARMLAND (C. 2 Ha each) TO PHILSOCORDS FOR ONGOING, PERPETUAL USE FOR FARMING ACTIVITIES, WILL BECOME A MEMBER OF ‘THE RURAL FARMER/WORKER GROUP’ SHARING IN THE 50% PROFIT-SHARE (NOT THE SHARES THEMSELVES) IN THE SPECIFIC COOPERATIVE UTILISING THEIR SPECIFIC FARMLAND. IN ADDITION, EACH OF THE FARMERS (OR THEIR WIVES) WILL BE EMPLOYED ON THAT SPECIFIC FARM IN ONE JOB OR ANOTHER, AND HE/SHE WILL RECEIVE A LIVABLE M0NTHLY SALARY.
THEIR WILL BE GENDER EQUALITY ON ALL COOPERATIVES, WITH WOMEN RECEIVING THE SAME LEVEL OF PAY AS MEN.
